We’re on the way
As this post goes live, the three of us, members of the Dror Israel delegation to the US (Gilad Perry, Tamara Ben Shalom, and Shraga Eli Stern) will already be in the air.
We decided to set out on another delegation in order to continue to get to know and establish further links with Jewish communities in the US and to tell the story of Dror Israel and our flagship project in Akko: The Akko Educators’ Kibbutz.
When possible, we always prefer the face to face encounter, the personal touch, the time and space for real conversation. When excitement is shared and creativity combined, that’s when it becomes possible to begin or continue dreaming together.
We will meet with communities, organizations, individuals, federations, congregations, our supporters and new people who want to get to know us and learn a little more about our educational and cultural work in Israel.
There is a special excitement that comes from the moment before new partnerships are created and existing ones are strengthened and we can’t wait to get there already and begin having meetings.
But we see these as much more than just meetings. They are the link between us, they are the place to dream about making change, the place to connect as Jews, the place for hope.
Our itinerary is as follows:
South Florida: January 3rd-7th
Portland, Oregon: January 8th-9th
Washington DC: January 10th-13th
New York: January 14th-15th
We’d love to have the opportunity to meet with you in one of those locations.
